The Young Advisors' National Residential and AGM

Friday 20th Feb - Sunday 22nd Feb

As voted for by Young Advisors, this year's annual conference will be a residential filled with activities and learning to help Young Advisors network and develop.

Arriving any time from 5pm on the Friday (Dinner will be served at 7:30pm) and leaving after lunch on the Sunday, the weekend will be have workshops and outdoor activities to suit all tastes.

Hollowford is an outdoor pursuits centre, and on offer over the weekend will be caving, zip wires, abseiling, orienteering, problem solving and team working activities, high ropes and for those who prefer to be indoors, some learning and team working workshops.

As part of the weekend, we will also be hosting our Annual General Meeting (AGM), where we will report on what's happened this year, and where we're going in 2009/10.  It will also be your chance to stand to be on our board of trustees if you're interested...

The event is free to all attending Young Advisors and their Leads, as is all the accommodation, activities, food and refreshments over the weekend.

The event is only open to trained Young Advisors and their Leads, although Young Advisors who are currently booked on to receive their training may also attend.  There are only 100 places at the event, so book soon!  Three places offered for each project (including the Lead) until the end of Jan, after which tickets will be issued on a first come first serve basis with larger projects receiving priority

All Young Advisors under 18 must be accompanied by a member of staff from their host organisation who will need to have gained parental consent for your attendance.

The closest railway station to the centre is Hope (Derbyshire) and we will be running regular minibus pick ups for the 2 mile journey from the station to the centre.  You can also phone the local taxi on 01433 620 525.
